Through our offices around the world, Figtree provides clients with powerful solutions for claims administration, reporting, analysis, and integration with core systems (selective policy administration & functionality).  Operating Environment Figtree Systems software solutions operate on the Windows Client platform, which utilises TCP/IP protocols to connect to the Database engine. This engine enables us to provide our clients with not only single user mode, but also multi user client/server connections and web interface capabilities.
Target MarketsFigtree Systems target markets are, for its claims management products insurance companies, claims administration providers, corporations and government departments that have a high exposure to public liability, workers compensation, general and life claims; and for fleet management products, organisations with more than 50 vehicles. Our clients encompass the insurance industry, third party claims administrators, heavy and light manufacturing, mining and primary industry, banks, retailing chains, Federal, State and Local Governments and corporations.

Figtree has installed systems at more than 1,000 sites in Australasia, Asia and Europe with a client base of approximately 300 organisations. Since 1995, Figtree's partnership with Progress Software Inc, has dramatically improved the development and deployment of Figtree Applications. In addition, this partnership has allowed us to offer highly flexible and configurable software solutions to provide a precise match to each client's requirement. The integration has enabled Figtree Systems for flexible implementation, scalability, portability and adherence to our industries.
More than 7,000 users access a Figtree System thanks not only to the flexibility of our operating environment, but also through one of our core values: the retention of highly trained programmers and client services staff (more than 60 full time employees around the globe), which has contributed significantly to the stability and growth of a business currently generating more than AU$10 million in revenue worldwide. Figtree most recent developments, FigtreeApp & FigtreeWeb functionality, are a business-rules engine that is the key to e-commerce application of our products. This business and Web functionality controls the flow of data to and from the database subjecting it to the business rules and logic that are necessary to protect the integrity of the database. This $1.5 million R&D project won Government endorsement through an AusIndustry Start Grant that provided 50% of the funding. This project enabled Figtree to release, in Australia, the first ASP specific product for e-commerce insurance applications and through our established New Zealand, European and Asian operations, we also have significant ASP claims management installations in London.
