In addition to the many standard reports Figtree provides an easy to use Ad-Hoc report writing facility. This enables the user to design and save customised report templates for specific reporting requirements. The graphical Ad-Hoc Report Writer has an intuitive "point & click" interface that allows novice users to generate the reports they want in seconds. Virtually any information in the system can be selected, linked to related information, filtered, sorted and grouped. The output can be printed as a presentation quality document or a graph, alternatively, the data can be sent to another Windows applications such as spreadsheets for further manipulation and styling.

An add-on to the Figtree Workers' Compensation system, Figtree Policy Management module allows for the recording of both Local and Master Policy arrangements and has the scope for recording Insured Values, Deductibles, Limits and Premiums. All financial details are held against each policy and are supported by an audit trail, which allows the user to affect a close management understanding of the development of the insurance cycle of the risk over a period of time. Multi-layer Insurance arrangements, Co-insurance details and captive involvements are also recorded and monitored to provide the complete circle of cover regarding the insured risk. A direct correlation exists between the Policy record and the Claim(s) associated, in order to provide the user with a real-time understanding of the number of claims made together with reserves, payments and recoveries made. This data is presented in both ‘full insurance year’ figures as well as ‘account year’ periods. Premium Allocation functionality exists which offers a ‘weighting’ influence between the Policy financial details, the claims incurred and bespoke risk management factors. This feature is an excellent tool for carrying out the dissemination of group wide premiums into local operating centres, and is flexible enough to be adapted, altered and tested in order to calculate and present the correct management values. The Policy Management module, has the same inherent flexibility (i.e. screen re-design, user-defined validation rules & audit trails) as the other Figtree modules; however, the core functionality for this module is geared towards the capturing and processing of insurance policies, underwriting data, premiums, limits, deductibles and values. Figtree Systems has broad capabilities in interfacing with other packages allowing the access and retrieval of file information for sophisticated workflow management between policy administration, underwriting and claims operations. The production of the policy wording, certificates and premium statements is also available as a standard, as is the option for customised web pages for capturing the renewal data. Added to the Policy Management module, is a quotation 'engine' that allows for premiums to be calculated and adjusted using the criteria dictated by your business and the risk. The rating system will incorporate all the appropriate factors and conditions and offers the flexibility to ensure that changes to your business environment can be easily introduced to the system. To provide management with key 'risk' data, the Policy Management module integrates fully with the Figtree Report Writer and Graphics package. This enables the user to analyse all levels of the quote, risk, premium and use the information as a management tool.
