As the 3rd largest Third Party Administrator in New Zealand. The business needs current system enhanced to manage reinsurance arrangements for general insurance scheme they administered. They used multiple spreadsheet and manual processes which were untimely, resource intensive and subject to error.

The Solution…

Figtree enhanced and programmed existing Figtree application to reflect reinsurance arrangements for this scheme.
The reinsurance arrangement involved primary layer insurer with multiple proportional reinsurers which required monthly reports on payments, recoveries, new claims, finalised claims, and estimate fluctuations.
Configured claims management database to reflect the legislative requirements of the ACC in New Zealand.
